What We Hope To Achieve

EcoRise Zambia is not just envisioning a sustainable future; they are building it with clear, ambitious impact goals across their key initiatives. By 2026, their Renewable Energy and Energy Access program aims to provide clean energy to 50,000 rural households, simultaneously slashing annual carbon emissions by 20,000 tons. In Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, EcoRise is committed to training 10,000 farmers in climate-smart practices by 2025, boosting their productivity by 30%.

The organization's dedication to Environmental Conservation and Biodiversity Protection is evident in their goal to plant 2 million trees by 2027 and reduce poaching in key conservation zones by 40% by 2026. Through their Circular Economy and Waste Management initiative, EcoRise plans to establish 10 recycling centers by 2025 and achieve a 30% reduction in landfill waste in targeted areas by 2026.

Addressing the urgent challenge of climate change, EcoRise aims to implement climate resilience programs for 20,000 community members by 2026 and influence the adoption of three climate-focused national policies by 2027. Their Water Resource Management efforts will provide clean water access to 100,000 people by 2025 and restore 100 hectares of wetlands by 2026.

EcoRise is also investing in people, with their Education and Community Empowerment initiative set to train 10,000 youth and women in green skills by 2025 and reach 50,000 students with environmental education by 2026. Recognizing the link between environment and health, the Health and Sustainable Livelihoods program will distribute 50,000 clean cookstoves by 2025 and create 1,500 green jobs by 2026. Finally, through Policy Advocacy and Governance, EcoRise aims to advocate for the adoption of five key sustainability policies by 2027 and establish 15 partnerships with government, NGOs, and businesses by 2025.

These impact goals demonstrate EcoRise Zambia's unwavering commitment to creating a resilient and thriving Zambia, where people and the environment prosper together.
